Groups & Guilds at Trinity

There are many ways to connect at Trinity. For more information about any of these groups, guilds, and ministries, or to find out about other ways you can get involved, contact the church office or check out our weekly newsletter.

Worship

Acolytes serve at Trinity during the Sunday 10:30 service. Youth and Children from early elementary school grades through High School are welcome to join one of our rotating acolyte teams.

The Altar Guild gives assistance to the priest in his or her ministry by preparing God’s Altar, the Sanctuary, and the Chapel for worship in all services.

Members of the Flower Guild make the beautiful arrangements of flowers and greenery at our altars each week, signifying the joy of Christian faith.

The Linen Guild clean and prepare the fine linens and maintain the ornate brocades used during Trinity’s worship services.

Lay Eucharistic Ministers assist clergy in administering the elements of Holy Communion. They may also take the sacrament to those who are ill, or otherwise unable to attend church.

Parish Life

The Brotherhood of Saint Andrew organizes the men’s ministry at Trinity. The mission of the international Brotherhood of St. Andrew is to bring men and youth to Jesus Christ through the threefold disciplines of Prayer, Study, and Service.

The Daughters of the King are a lay religious order who pledge themselves to a life-long program of prayer, service and evangelism. Trinity’s DOK chapter fosters a spirit of fellowship and service among the women of Trinity.

St. Lydia’s Guild meets monthly for dinner and fellowship, and exists to raise funds for special projects within and beyond the parish.

The Guild of the Christ Child is dedicated to making Baptism a memorable occasion for children and welcoming infants into our parish family.

The Parish Life Committee helps organize Trinity’s pastoral response to families in times of transition or need, such as death, illness, hospitalization, or the arrival of a newborn. Committee members assist with funeral visitations or receptions, flower and meal deliveries, and other forms of “inreach” and pastoral care.
