Saint Francis Fund – Trinity’s outreach programs enjoy peer respect from throughout the community. The St. Francis Fund has given over two million dollars in outreach support since its inception in 1993. For more information about Saint Francis Fund grant applications please contact the church office.
Boy Scouts – Trinity has sponsored Troop 6 for decades, an older charter than any other in the Valley. This year we opened our doors to Cub Scout Pack 6 as well, hosting boys in 1st through 5th grades as they begin to learn the values for which the Boy Scouts are famous. For more information about Boy Scouts, please contact Harlan Price at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Prayer Breakfast – Nearly every Sunday morning, a team gathers in the Parish Hall and kitchen to offer their time, and their selves to provide a moment of prayer and what might be the only meal available on Sundays for some of the Valley’s most vulnerable residents. Week after week, Trinity’s Prayer Breakfast welcomes anyone who comes to our doors, giving them a smile and encouraging conversation, offering prayer corporately and individually, and serving them the same breakfast we serve ourselves an hour later. For more information about Prayer Breakfast Teams or volunteering to join a team, please contact John Holt at email@example.com.
Trinity Clothes Closet – Our church members and others regularly donate clothing to the Trinity Clothes Closet, which is located in the basement of our church. Each Sunday morning our prayer breakfast guests are invited to receive clothing items from our closet. We are always in need of clothing donations, financial contributions to buy clothing, and volunteers to serve. For more information contact Sarah Riddick at SRiddick@aflac.com.
Valley Interfaith Promise (VIP) – Trinity’s doors were also opened for several families being helped through Valley Interfaith Promise (VIP), a rotation of churches that help homeless or near-homeless families as they transition to a more solid future. Parish volunteers provide companionship along with an evening meal or comfortable and safe overnight accommodations, and in the process receive as much in return. For more information contact the church office.
