The Rev. Andrew T. Blakemore graduated from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in 2020 and, before coming to Columbus, worked as a chaplain resident for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. He also previously served as seminarian at Holy Trinity Parish in Decatur and director of youth ministries at St Columba’s Episcopal Church in Suwanee. Father Andy grew up in the town of Winfield, Kansas. Prior to attending seminary, Father Andy studied sociology, economics, religious studies, and mathematics. He and his wife, Nicole, met at the University of Kansas while he was studying religion there.
The Blakemores arrived at Trinity in the Spring of 2022. Nicole is an eight-grade science teacher at Richards Middle School. As they settle into Columbus, you might spot either of them biking along the Fall Line Trace or the river!
